Dr. Oscar Sum graduated from one of the world’s top dental programs at King’s College London. He continued to work in Brighton, UK as a General Dentist under the NHS and later as an Oral and Maxillofacial resident in public hospital whilst completing his Masters in Dental AI.

In 2013 he moved to Shanghai to work in the top Orthodontic and Implant clinics and in 2023 he founded Aidencare. Dr. Sum is able to converse fluently in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Dr. Adrian Gaytan Davila is not only an exceptional dentist but also a true people's person with a warm and caring personality. He possesses a natural ability to connect with his patients, making them feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits. When it comes to working with children, Dr. Adrian's talent truly shines. His passion for pediatric dentistry is evident in the way he interacts with young patients. We are delighted to have Dr. Jennifer with us at Aidencare. Dr. Jennifer Xu is a highly skilled and compassionate general dentist with a passion for creating beautiful, healthy smiles. 

Dr. Jennifer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne. With experience spanning both public and private sectors, her patients often describe her as gentle, meticulous, and deeply attentive to their needs.

Dr. Jennifer has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and stays at the forefront of modern dental technologies. Combining her artistic talent and love for drawing, she has a keen eye for detail and a unique ability to design natural, aesthetically pleasing smiles.

Fluent in both English,  Mandarin and Shanghainese, she is dedicated to providing personalized care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Chang is now a lecturer in Hong Kong on the subject of implants particularly autogenous bone grafting and has done over 10,000 implants. He did his undergraduate and implant specialty training in the UK, where he served the highest end patients and did the most complicated cases.

Dr. Miller graduated from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Dentistry and has previously worked at Ruijin Hospital, where he trained under the esteemed Professor Gao Yiming. With extensive experience in digital implants and the extraction of impacted teeth, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive clinical care for various oral health issues. Dr. Miller has also participated in numerous dental conferences and training programs focused on the latest advancements in robotic implant technology.

Passionate about restoring smiles, Dr. Miller has rich clinical experience in both removable and aesthetic fixed dentures, ensuring that each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their needs. 

Dr. Alvin's career began at Beijing University Dental Hospital, where he completed his graduate studies in the Department of Prosthodontics and earned a PhD in Dentistry. He then served as an attending physician at Shanghai Dental Hospital and Fudan University, focusing on prosthodontics and implants.  During this time, he received the titles of Outstanding Resident Physician at Shanghai Dental Hospital & Fudan University School of Medicine in 2022.

Dr. Alvin leads All-on-X (full mouth implant) surgeries and immediate restorations. He has mastered various advanced restorative techniques, including minimally invasive ultra-thin porcelain veneers and BPS full-arch dentures, as well as microscopic root canal techniques and anterior crown lengthening, all aimed at providing high-quality dental care for every patient.
