The Full Story

Friends & patients have frequently suggested for a long time that I should do a podcast but I have been rather reluctant due to my introverted nature. The podcast is about bringing together the community and spreading positivity in a difficult time. I also like to reconnect with a lot of people around the world whether you are in the UK, US, Singapore or Austrailia, get in touch as we would like to hear from you!

Since "Shanghai Cycle Diaries" is supported by the local community & Freya Zhang, we will have a steady schedule of 2 podcasts a month where we interview entrepreneurs or interesting people making a difference in the world.

Our format is as follows:

We meet guests in Shanghai and discuss their role in their community, talk about funny stories, hypothetical situations, how they would like to change their world.

Topics we discuss in the podcast include:

  • Your Shanghai funny moment

  • Tell us about where you are from

  • If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

  • What’s the most interesting place you’ve ever been to?

  • What is a funny story your family tells about you that you’d like to share?

Questions we like to ask our guests at the end of the podcast include:

  • If you had 250,000 pounds, how would you use it?

  • If you could be any animal, what would you be?

  • If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

  • What do you think the world will look like in five years?

  • Tell me about the three most influential people in your life and how they impacted you.

  • Bad job interview moment - Whether you were interviewing or being interviewed

  • What other jobs have you done, different to your industry?

  • What is a common myth about your job or field of expertise?

  • If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?

  • What’s the biggest challenge you’re facing in your role/business/project right now and how are you tackling it?

  • What is one piece of advice you’d give to someone starting out in your career?

  • What are three books you’d recommend to my audience and why?

  • What are three movies you’d recommend to my audience and why?
